A decentralized oracle verifies the full backing of USDM, ensuring it is minted only up to the verified available amount in the USDM fiat reserve. Verified by Charli3 Oracle.
Burning
To redeem USDM for USD, verified users request a burn of their USDM tokens. The equivalent USD amount is then returned to their verified bank account (subject to fees).
